Last weekend was absolutely the perfect Oregon summer day!

The temps had finally come down to a reasonable level for enjoying some yard and garden From Millan.Net time on Saturday and again on Sunday morning but in the afternoon I retreated to the "Stampin' Studio" for some fun card makin' time.

Since summer was/is in the air and there are sooo many great fruits and veggies available every where.... which was my inspiration to make a card with the set "Giggly Greetings."

I really wanted to use the wonderful juicy bowl of cherries stamp.  I had hoped the versamark pen and clear embossing powder would have shown up better in the pic as it highlighted the shiny bowl and
made the cherries look ready to eat.

We all know the saying similar to this one... " Sometimes life is just a bowl of Cherries... etc."  but I didn't want to use the sentiment "and some times it is the pits" so I made this card to focus on the positive happiness of fresh crisp cherries .... like a birthday:
