With this last post, for now, I think I am caught up...

until this weekend when I need to make several birthday cards, a retirement card and whatever inspires me as I will be holding up inside the house with looming temps...

between 91 and 94 degrees.  That is too hot, hot, hot for my liking and most Oregonians in my opinion!

So on to this card.  I just loved  the cute example in the Holiday catalog (which I will post tomorrow) and thought I could recreate it.... but my excitement for this cute little mummy took me down a different path as you can see:

Sets: Goggly Ghouls, Watercolor Winter, retired Calendar Alphabets, Retired Out on a Limb

Paper:  Basic Black, Halloween DSP, Saraha Sand

Inks: Midnight Muse, Daff. Delight. Lucky Limeaid, Basic Grey

Accessories: Labels Colletions framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits, Googely eyes,  brayer, clear EP, veramark, spellbinders (that my friend bought for me last year).

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do!

Love getting caught up with my stampin... and sharing my yappin'  bout stampin!

My friend was in town and I had not seen her for sooo long that when she had some spare time from her whirlwind life/visit,  she wanted to make a few cards.

I wanted make easy for get back into stampin (as all her "goodies" have been in storage for almost 2 years) so I started with the previous Christmas card post, but I remember how much she love Halloween cards and I with the thought and created this card to get her started:

Sets: Frightful Feline

Paper: Pumkin Pie, retired Halloween DSP, Whisper White, Basic Black

Ink: Stazon, Sharpie Markers, Pumpkin Pie

Accessories:  Basic Rhinestones, Glittered Ribbon, Scallop Punch, BigZ Scallop Die

More Christmas in July :)

I have finally decided I need to make a "photo box" for taking pictures for this Blog and find a better photo editing software... as this is embarrasing that I can't take a well lite and straight pic to post.

Anyway who, here is the reciepe for this card:

Sets: Joyous Christmas

Paper:  Real Red,  Old Olive Whispher White

Ink: Real Red, Early Expresso, Old Olive

Accessories: EP, Red Gingham Ribbon, Grograin Real Red Ribbon (retired)

This a slightly different version of the last card posted....

The only difference between this card is the use of the Candelight Christmas DSP and my mixture of EP is Irredisent Ice and Glitter Red.

This was one of the cards that was made at our last club using a set from new HOLIDAY CATALOG:

Sets: Watercolor Winter, Tiny Tags

Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Be of good Cheer DSP

Ink: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Pretty in Pink

Accessories: Daff. Delight Seam Binding, Clear EP, Basic Rhinestones, Sharpy Marker

This was a fun card to make, but did take a bit of "fussy" cutting :)

Hi Friends....I am back to show you some of the cards from my "Christmas in July" fad....

First is this card:

Not to much to tell you about this card except this was mostly made with SUMRAs (which I call Stampin Up! Mostly Retired and other stuff).

Stamps: Cardinal Christmas, teeny tiny wishes
Paper: Daff. Delight, Whisper White

The rest is retired items and some non-SU embellishments.

I hope you like it although haven't given you much information.... I was a bit concerned about the little crinkle in the frame, which I didn't see until I posted the pic.

Thanks for Yappin' bout Stampin' with me!

Hugs,

Lisa

Again, WOW, I have so many posts to catch up on...

But, I think I will have to work  backwards, showing you the most recent cards, etc.  So, here we go a card from todays club:

I just saw these two sets sitting next to each other on my desk and they reminded of days past going  to a local well known dairy farm for their holiday "town." Outfitted like a western town, they had pony drawn wagons rides and nice hot chocolate. This memory brought back the fun time when both my children were young and each of them holding a hot cup of cocoa with their wintery mittens after the excitement of the evening was winding down and they were cold. And that the cocoa being savored and held by those pink cheeked cherbs with winter mittens ~ warms my heart :)

Stamps: Make A Mitten, Sensational Season. retired set for the sentiment

Paper: Real Red, Night of Navy, Whispher White, Gumball Green and Candlelight Christmas

Ink: Night of Navy, Real Red, Basic Grey marker)

Accessories: Whispher White Bakers Twine, Finishing Touches Edgelits, 2 1/2" circle punch, 3" Bigz die, large oval punch, extra lg. scallop punch
