More Baby Cards...

I liked the layout I used for my new great niece's card so much I thought I would do something similar for a work associate of my husband's who had twins the same day as that  niece was born.

Not sure I like the buttons on the card, but once I put them on it be meant remaking the cards if I took them off as DSP I is not very forgiving when something is adhered to it with glue dots.

This if for the special twin boy!!!

This for the sweet twin baby girl (sorry for the shadow that distracts from the sentiment).

Been doin' a lot of yappin' bout stampin' lately :)

Babies every where....

On December 26th my nephew and his wife had my first great grand-niece

I got this adorable ala-cart stamp off the the SU! Clearance Rack.  I would have not  looked twice at stamps in the catalog or anywhere else for baby themed items, except there are so many babies being born and those on the way including my own grandchild...so whatelse should be catching my eye?

Anyway, I made this card for my great-niece and although, I wanted to make in traditional girly lace etc., I gave into their enthusiasm  for the Beavers!  I hope they like it!

Ok, I fibbed.... I have just a few more Christmas card to show you...

My favorite Santa stamp of all time and I finally had a chance to use it!

Although, I didn't use all SU! products I did use their papers as they are the best... the stamp and the embellishments are not... this is only one of many variations I made.   Hope you like it as much as I do.

Last of last Christmas Post and Pics....

Can't sleep, so I must be just waiting up waiting for Santa!  Because, if he doesn't show up soon I get his cookies and milk, LOL!

So here are few more cards I wanted to share, if you want details just email me:

A club favorite was this fun and easy snow globe using the Frosty Friends 'ala Cart stamp from the Winter catalog.

We also had fun with this fun sled using the scentsational Season set from the Winter catalog.

This another cased card I really couldn't add much more to make even it my own as it was so snow clean and simple:

Can  you deal with one more?

I have a couple more to share then I move on the New Years, Valentines and beyond.... but for now I hear somthing on the roof.... which means I will not catch Santa if I don't close my eyes and dream of those in sorrow over the last few weeks and accept the blessings I have been given.   WE all need to share out blessings with others.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!

I certainly got my money's worth out of this set.  The snow-kids just kept drawing me in!

Set:  Wonderful Winter Wonderland

I used various papers, colors, accessories on the following cards.  Contact me if you would like more specifics.  As, I looked others cards on www.splitcoaststampers.com  it became clear that I was not the first to think of some of these templates.

The card below was my "original" design and I have posted it here before, but wanted to share my surprise when I went to check out SCS (see link above) that my card was the sample for this set.

Happy Holidays!

I have been playing Santa since the beginning of November or so it seems!  Now it is time to sit back and enjoy the season and catch up on some posts.

Although I loved most of the Christmas sets in this years Holiday Catalog, this is the first one that caught my attention.  Wonderous Christmas is just so sweet and emulates the vision of children clammering to be with big jolly man in the red suit and cherry-red cheeks.  But, I didn't purchase it until much later because, honestly, was intimidated by all the detail and wasn't sure if I would even use it.
After awhile I decided to give it a shoot and this is what I came up with:

Set: Wonderous Wishes
Paper: Ridinghood Red, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede and Candelight Specialty DSP
Ink: Ridinghood Red, Chocolate Chip, SU! Markers, Blender Pens
Acceessories:  Woodgrain BG stamp, Stripes Folder and Holiday Frame Folder

It did take me some time to color this and when I was done, I was still not happy with it but will try again next year.  I only made one of these cards so there is only one original.  I must say that I must have seen the striped folder before, because when I posted this card on SCS I saw another card using it as well, so I must have cased that part of the card.

Hope you enjoy this card.... I do.
