PENS FROM STAMPIN' UP!

I love them!  From Millan.Net

It did take me some time to figure out the best way for me to work with them.  I have always gone from light to dark, but with these you could go dark to light as well and lighten things up using the Color Lifter pen.

Check out the

Some new fun stuff to share with you out of the New Catalog..

It appears that my being a demo for Stampin' Up! will soon end as early as the end of September (I thought it would be sooner, still have a few wonderful things to get out of the new catalog) and not sure how the next few months will play out.

I not quitting stamping or creating, "au contraire" I am reviving up my engine From Millan.Net to do more!   As I have more "stuff" than even my future great or great, great grandchild could ever use up!

That being said let me show you one of the recent cards I made using new catalog goodies:

I love clean and simple cards just as much as the elaborate ones, don't you?

I tried a new method of recording the recipe of the cards as I make them:

I thought it would be a good idea, because I will start writing down what I am doing as I go along, but usually loose my piece of paper. Most likely I have recycled it with my scraps!

This idea with the chalk board was that it being larger I wouldn't toss my notes and so far so good:) but I did repeat one of the inks I used, argh!!!

Thanks for checking in and reading about my yappin' about stampin!

It was has been one of bestest distractions, yes I writing bestest, to happen.

This little Sweetheart is my first Grand-baby, she and her parents finally moved back home from Cali ~ in April!!! She just turned one and I was so ecstatic to be part of the celebration.

It is so great to have all my family close again. From Millan.Net

This sweet set from the Celebration Catalog.....

just screamed to me "stained glass" technique!  So I gave it a try!
I really like how it turned out From Millan.Net

I just wish that there was a better way to adhere velum without the adhesive being seen and it doesn't matter that I used expensive velum tape, it still shows...

I stamped the images using VersaMark and heat embossed the pewter embossing powder. Colored the image inside the embossed edges.

Sets: So Very Grateful and Lots of Thanks

Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White and Vellum cardstock.

Ink/Markers: Crisp Cantaloupe, Primrose Petals, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.

Haven't been sitting on my "crafting" laurels for the last two months

Hey Yappin' Stampers:

As stated in my previous post, I had not been able to post for the last 2 months, but I have actually been doing a lot of paper crafting.

I will start by sharing what kept me busily distracted and happy during a cold, very rainy and drizzly day here in the great NW last weekend:

WASHI TAPE VASES

I wasn't really to sure about washi tape when it become popular, I was like  From Millan.Net, what is the attraction, but it is a go to for some added pizzazz for  me now!!!

Here are the dets:
From Millan.Net

Stamp set:  Vivid Vases (Occasions Catalog).

Inks:  Black Stazon;  SU Stampin' Write Markers: Pear Pizzazz,
Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Crisp Cantaloupe, Wisteria Wonder and Tangerine Tango.

Paper: Whisper White and Real Red,

Supplies/accessories: 2 1/2" circle punch, 3" Sizzix Circle originals die, Simply Scored Scoring Board/tool, Paper piercing tool and Deco labels Collection (cut down), basic rhinestone and real red brads.

Washi Tape: Season of Style,  and Watercolor Wonder.

WASHI has won me over and now I look for other uses for it including holding my broken camera together, it looks more "stylish" than it did with blue painters tape!

Thanks for Yappin' bout Stampin' with me!

I'm Back!

Hi Yappin’ Stampers!
Since New Year’s I have heard, as you probably had as well, all “the new” you ads ~~~  you know the ones: “new you” new car, “new you” new gym, “new you” with Botox!

Well to me the “new you” was to post regularly on this blog, but and a BIG BUT, I got a new computer for Christmas and went with Google Chrome.  Google Chrome didn't play nice with Blogger and the navbar disappeared, which gave me no way to into the blog!   No way to update it and no way to do new posts, etc.

I have spent the last two months, sporadically, trying to find a way to fix it.   Nothing I found on the internet helped, argh! I would just give up with frustration, but I would try again as I couldn't let the whole situation get the best of me.

I kept, obsessively, trying not wanting to give up!  Then I had an epiphany! Maybe there were hidden cookies that I couldn't delete.  I tried to fix it on a different computer and Voila! It worked!

I am back to become the “new you of me” to post more often!
Thanks for listening about my journey to do more Yappin’ about Stampin'
